This one’s a new build on a quiet street that loops back around on itself.
The porch is just large enough to keep you dry while you search for your keys.
You know I’m a sucker for wood ceilings on porches and covered patios.
Just inside, to the left, there’s a small room that doubles as a 4th bedroom, or with a bit of vision, becomes a beautiful home office.
The floor plan is open, so the kitchen becomes the focal point of the home. There’s bar seating on the island with the bar raised up to accommodate taller chairs.
Storage options aren’t limitless, but there’s a good amount of space to keep pots and pans. Also, it’s nice to see a mixture of drawers and cabinets. Like most new builds, you’ll find stainless appliances installed.
New builds often don’t seem to know what to do when it comes to the pantry. Either they devote a large portion of the kitchen to a concealed walk-in pantry, or they omit a pantry all together. This, however, is an interesting compromise—a walk-in closet pantry that’s attached in the bend of the kitchen.
The primary bedroom is the tried and true room with two windows and a tray ceiling. That’s not a bad thing though. It’s a comfortable enough space to fit a king bed, or a queen with room to spare.
The ensuite features a split vanity design. Each side has plenty of storage.
For this price point, we have both the expected soaking tub and separate shower and reasonably sized walk-in closet.
In the guest hallway, there’s something atypical. Storage - and a fair amount of it at that. There are two separate storage cabinets, one by each bedroom.
The covered patio, deck, and nearly ¾ acre yard are another stand out feature for a home in the 350’s.
Robinwood would make a pleasant, modern place to call home.
