72 Wind Ridge Lane

This one’s a cost effective way to pick up four bedrooms and lake views for under $300,000. The facade is brick with vinyl accents on the front and back.

There’s a suitably sized covered porch. I’m not typically a fan of non-standard door colors, but this one is kind of cute.

The living room is a lengthy space. You’ll need some creativity with how you decorate the space given the hearth and mantel on the 45, but I’m envisioning this as a chance to make an unconventional, quirky space.

The kitchen is practical and provides a good amount of storage. The back splash is a stickup backing instead of traditional tile, but it does provide some extra protection to the wall. There’s an eat-in area at the end of the kitchen.

We see a similar backsplash on the opposite side along with more storage. It’s nice to see a counter peninsula to give us some extra counter space to work on. As an added benefit, it prevents the kitchen from feeling like a galley kitchen.

In lieu of a drop zone, we’ve got additional storage between the kitchen, laundry, and garage. The blue is a statement. It’s a color that’s growing in popularity, but I’m not converted just yet. I do like the added flexibility though. Use it as a pantry, or as additional storage for household items.

The primary is off the kitchen and is fairly deep. I’d like to see some down lighting, but at least we’ve got a good number of electrical outlets.

The primary bathroom is a starting to show its shortcomings. It is a bit compact and contains only a single sink. I’m one to not be bothered by a concession such as this. I don’t spend that much time in the bathroom after all. But, I definitely understand that a second sink is mandatory for many buyers.

The three guest bedrooms are all on a single hallway on the far side of the house from the primary. Their a pretty average size, but the big perk is that there are three guest rooms - not the standard two.

There’s a nice deck outback, along with a fenced yard and storage building.

There’s a pond just beyond the fence, and it is visible from the deck. I’d really love to see the new owner replace the existing privacy fence with a wrought iron or similar see-through fencing to improve the view of the lake.

Wind Ridge makes for a cost effective way to enjoy water front living in a nicely sized four bedroom home.
